Burn permits are required for all outdoor burning in the City of Gold Bar, Town of Index and the Unincorporated portions of the Fire District. Burn Bans are regulated by the Puget Sound Clean Air Agency and the Snohomish County Fire Marshal. Prior to any burning you we suggest you contact our Burning Information Line at 425-388-3508 to verify that there are no Burn Bans or Burning Limitations that may have been placed due to high fire danger or air quality conditions. Burn Permits are free and can be picked up at any of our Stations. You can also apply for a burn permit online.
